The Pre-Employment Carpentry Program prepares students for skilled jobs in the construction industry. Through 17 weeks, the students will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to find work in the carpentry field. On completion of the program, students can choose to work towards the Apprenticeship Certification of Qualification. The program gives the student the chance to train and practice with a wide variety of tools, techniques and materials in well equipped shops. Trades related math also forms a significant part of the curriculum. This ensures that students are
able to apply theoretical learning to practical problems.
