An introduction to theprinciples, processes and interactions in the earth's physical environment witha particular emphasis on the flow of energy and matter within globalenvironmental systems. Topics include global radiation and energy balances,atmospheric and oceanic processes, the hydrological cycle, earth surfaceprocesses and biogeochemical cycling.
