Yellowknife / North Slave Campus Library
Yellowknife Campus Library supports Aurora College students and faculty in their research and information needs. Library materials include books, DVDs, videos, and print journals. Particular strengths are in the areas of nursing, social work, nurse practitioner and management studies.
Together with the other campus libraries, several licensed electronic databases are available to students and faculty as well as some e-books. Students, faculty and staff are able to access them off-site. To request a password, please contact email@example.com
Services for Aurora College students and faculty
- Lending: Books (2 weeks); DVDs and videos (1 week) Items can usually be renewed once.

Who can borrow?
Students: A student must be currently registered at Aurora College (any campus or community learning centre) and must have a valid student ID card.
Faculty and staff: The library will issue a permanent library card, which is valid as long as the faculty or staff member are employed with Aurora College.
Evening instructors and tutors: In recognition of their service to the college, evening instructors and tutors are issued library cards.
Community borrowers: An external borrower’s card may be issued upon request to persons otherwise not affiliated with Aurora College including Aurora College students without a valid student ID card, and GNWT employees.
Interlibrary loan: Items from Yellowknife Campus Library are lent through interlibrary loan to borrowers outside Yellowknife.
